This is my friend, Buddy. Is he eating by himself? As much as my friends and I would like to say that he is, he’s on a date with someone at Mambu. I didn’t really eat at Mambu, so this post isn’t about food–it’s more about other people eating out. Oh, and I promise that I’m really not so creepy that I would do this regularly or on my own; there were five of us in a car. When you do things in groups of over three people, that exempts you from being creepy. Am I right? Probably.
As for his date, here are the conversation topics he most likely used, in no particular order:
- Canada (he’s from Canada)
- His trip to New York (his date’s from New York)
- Medical School
- Vanderbilt
- Nashville
- Sports, sports, and sports
- <awkward silences>
That’s pretty much all we–this brain trust of Buddy’s friends–could think of. Maybe Buddy will be so kind as to enlighten us all with the topics of conversation with his date, and maybe a yay or nay on whether I should try Mambu.
